I do wish things here weren't so busy. Mike is working so many more hours now and for less pay. I was hoping to hear back from a place for a part time job. The guy emailed me and said he'd call. He still hasn't called. I'm not sure what I should do there.
Oh, finally....a holiday about how I feel right now. It's Be Nasty Day. Okay, I guess I should say that I hope people decide NOT to celebrate this day. But if you do choose to celebrate Be Nasty Day, then celebrate by refreshing yourself on some of the greatest insults ever uttered in film, television, politics, and literature. That way you aren't being nasty...but you get a dose of nasty.
It is also International Women's Day sponsored worldwide by the United Nations. The roots of this celebration goes back to the late 1800's to early 1900s. It grew from women's socialist movements and early women's trade union groups. The first International Women's Day was held March 19, 1911. The focus of this holiday is upon women workers, and advancing women's rights in the workforce, politics, and society.
March 8 is also Girls Write Now Day, or think of it as, Girls Write Everywhere Day. It is a day to encourage girls of all ages everywhere in the world to put pen to paper and explore the beauty and power of their unique, creative voices. It is a day to celebrate girls, girl writers, and overall girl awesomeness. I will make sure my daughter knows about this holiday.
I think I'll go celebrate Be Nasty Day with the insurance company. LOL. They are not paying some items that should be paid. Boy I hate owing money, to anyone.
