I Received a Kraft Good Eating Good Living Gift Basket.....

I have been reading the reviews of Kraft products the last few days, and I've been getting jealous. I knew I was suppose to be reviewing the Kraft products, but my Kraft Good Eating Good Living Gift Basket hadn't arrived yet. I was just about to contact Stefanie when the mail came yesterday. Yeah!!! I got a box. I like boxes. It was the Kraft Good Eating Good Living Basket.

Wow, it looked nice all wrapped up like that.

Inside was the basket, recipe cards, a water bottle, an Amex GC and coupons. I grabbed the coupons and rushed right out the door (had to pick up Angela). While Angela was at dance, I went over to WalMart to start getting picking up the Kraft items I needed. Tomorrow I'm making dip!!!

In Michigan.....

We are currently up in Michigan enjoying time with family. Pher is getting picked up from Alma College tomorrow, so all 9 of the grandkids will be at mom and dad's for Thanksgiving. This will be an experience, as some of the kids are already not getting along.  I just hope to survive.

What to get the Person that has Everything.....

I found the perfect gift for the person that thinks they have everything. I'm sure that they won't have this. The website is ThinkGeek, and the site has all kinds of unique gifts.

Plush Microbe Holiday Ornament Set
  • Five adorable mini giant microbes.
  • Each microbe has a loop to hang as an ornament.
  • Each microbe also has a little holiday flair - like E. coli's antlers, Brain Cell's candy cane, etc.
  • Includes:: Common Cold (Rhinovirus), Amoeba (Amoeba proteus), Kissing Disease/Mono (Epstein-Barr Virus), E. coli (Escherichia coli), Brain Cell (Neuron).

Aren't they cute? I saw these on ThinkGeek and they just cracked me up.

Trying....

Okay, I'm trying to get this blog up and running; however, I think I need some help. I really don't have any followers, and I'm not really sure how to get more followers. I've slowly been trying to get a few blog buttons on my blog. Today I added my Swagbucks swidget and link. Now, I can use any suggestions and comments....please.

TGIF: Misc News

Well, it's one week until Thanksgiving break here. That means a long drive up to Michigan for a few days of family, friends, and food. Hopefully, Pher will be able to take that weekend off and come down to mom and dad's house. Both of my new neices are going to be baptized on Sunday morning. I can't wait to see them, as Baby Esther I've never actually seen yet. Baby Samantha was only 2 weeks old when I was down in Florida, so I'm sure she's grown and changed a lot the last 6 weeks. Hard to believe my parents now have 9 grandkids ranging in age from 17 to 4 weeks.

Gather is having one of their holiday contests, where they want us to submit holiday photos of your family. Congrats to Bridget for being the first winner...it's a great shot of the kids. I told Angela about the contest, so she decided we needed some new holiday photos of Maggie. Then she stuck the snowflake headband on Mike....though Mike isn't nearly as cooperative as Maggie.

I hope everyone had a wonderful  Friday.
I will try to post some links to blogs that are hosting some great giveaways.

Angela's Halloween Costume....

This year we definately had to be frugal about Halloween costumes, so I decided to make Angela's costume. I had found the bright pink bath scrubby things on clearance at Target spot (the dollar section of Target), so I was able to get them at 8 for $1.00. I think I ended up buying around $3.00 of the bath scrubbies, which would be 24 of them. Each one was taken apart and cut in to 4 pieces then rubberbanded onto either a hair tie or a piece of ribbon. The ears and tail were made out of neon pink socks. Overall, I spent well less than $10 for the costume....and the best part, NO SEWING.
