According to the bag, 10 pounds of chicken are used to make a 15 lb bag of dog food. Now that's a lot of chicken! My dogs just LOVE chicken, and they loved the Bil Jac dog food. They moved aside the little bit of food that was left in the dish just to get the Bil Jac food.
The only downside of the Bil Jac food is that it's expensive. The smallest size bag was over $17 at Petco. The prices ranged from $17 to about $50. Yikes! This is like a treat dog food for my dogs. I couldn't afford to buy this every week for my dogs. Maggie did eat less food than usual, but Lily ate more food than usual. I may buy this food again for my dogs, since they both do like it....BUT it would have to be on sale and I'd have to have a coupon.
Wow, I don't know how I would be able to feed my children, if I had to pay $17 for a small bag of dog food:)
