Crowdtap Mortal Instruments -- Let's Have a Party!

I was given the opportunity to host a Mortal Instruments party through Crowdtap. It really didn't turn out as planned and was probably the worst book party I've thrown. Besides me and my daughter, no one else really seems that excited to see the Mortal Instruments movie.

I do want to show what we did to Angela's hair though. She wants it to be like Clary's red, so we picked up 2 boxes of the new Splat Crimson Obsession. Unfortunately, only one of them had the special code in it, though both boxes should have...hence, no free movie ticket I guess.

This is before.....(finally found a decent one of her hair and the normal color)

 This is the during. Angela was hoping the color would turn out about this dark. Remember, this is 2 boxes. We also left it on a little longer than it said on the box.

This is the color it turned out afterwards. It's much lighter and brighter red than she thought. It's nothing like the color it was suppose to be.

 Christopher is busy reading the 4th book......

 He has no interest in anything but the food and the book.....

 Angela is only on the second book....and see her nice pretty red hair now.

I'll try to get some other photos up also, but as I said....this party wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I think the teens are just in school mode now that we've been in almost 3 weeks.

 

I am hoping to take Angela to the movie on Friday or Saturday....
